Project 2 Response Questions

  1. In what way did you change your process to make a piece that was site specific? It made a point that we all should try to be more social in a space where most people are sitting there in silence scrolling on social media. If people sitting in this space look up from their phones and read it, they might check themselves.
  2. How did you challenge yourself creatively, conceptually and/or technically in the making of this piece? If you did not feel challenged is there something you would do differently if you were to do it again? I felt challenged creatively and conceptually when trying to come up with something that already wasn't done before but if I were to do it again I would add something to my quote that's more clever like an ironic "status update" as someone in the critique suggested or include a picture that would challenge me technically.
  3. Were there elements that made the completion of this piece either more difficult or felt not challenging enough? After I finally figured out my idea, the completion of my piece was relatively easy.
  4. Reflect on the critique and consider how your experience was different from the first: was the feedback you received helpful? Be specific about why or why not. This critique was different than the last because people could start off saying what ever they wanted about my piece. I actually preferred this type of critique because I feel like I got really good advice that I might not have gotten if I were to ask a straightforward question. The feedback was very helpful.
  5. Please share any other thoughts.
