Who Am I

  1. Who are you? Scarlet Morgan, an aspiring artist, and college freshman. 
  2. Where are you from? Kennett Square, PA 
  3. Do you have a preferred pronoun? she/her
  4. Tell me something about yourself? My favorite medium is drawing specifically with charcoal or pastel, but I am really interested in graphic design even though I have no experience.
  5. What is your major? As of now I am majoring in Visual Studies.
  6. What kind of art do you like to make (share an image)? I love drawing people.

  7. What apps/programs on the phone or computer do you use most frequently and what for?
    IMessage for texting my friends and family, Spotify for listening to music, and Chrome for most of my school assignments.
  8. Who is one of your favorite visual artists (post a  photo)? I can't think of a favorite but I really like Andy Warhol. 

     
  9. Who is your favorite musician (share a link)?
    There is too many musicians and I listen to a lot of different music I can't really choose, I like the Black Keys a lot though.
  10. What do you hope to get out of this class?
    I hope that I become more comfortable with using tools like photoshop and that I like graphic design enough that I continue to utilize apps like photoshop. 
  11. Can you sit still for an hour? Yes, I feel like I can sit still for a while.
  12. What is your relationship to visual studies? I love art and thats my major, and I like that visual studies is flexible and covers a broad range of topics.
  13. What is the relationship between computers and visual studies? In today's world, computers are a part of everything so it's important that we use them along with all their advantages to spread messages through art.
  14. What is your experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere? I've played around with photoshop before but I never knew what I was doing and I don't think I have ever used illustrator or premiere.
  15. Have you ever created a 3D printed object? No.
  16. Do you have a computer at home? I have a Mac that now has photoshop through temple.
  17. Write a five line story. When I was little wanted to be an artist. When I was in high school I thought I wanted to be physical therapist. Then, I thought I would be a therapist. Eventually, I realized I definitely wanted to continue pursuing my passion for art. Finally, I came here to be an art therapy major but, I just switched to a visual studies major.
